1st Edition Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon Booster Box: A Buyer’s Guide
Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (LOB) was the first English Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG booster set, released in 2002 with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician and the pieces of Exodia the Forbidden One. A sealed 1st Edition box is the starting point of the whole English game — and at this price, careful verification matters more than anything else.

1st Edition vs Unlimited
Konami printed each early English set first as 1st Edition and later as Unlimited. 1st Edition packs and cards carry a “1st Edition” marking; Unlimited do not. The cards inside are the same set list, but collectors price the two prints as different products — compare a 1st Edition box only with other 1st Edition boxes of the same set.
Verification before you pay
Sealed first-set boxes are exactly the kind of product where resealing is a known risk across the hobby. Ask for six-side photos and close-ups of the wrap seams, ask how the box was sourced, and ask whether it has been examined by any third party. Compare the box design and edition marking against known genuine examples before ordering.
